Sunday, July 26, 2015. This summer is about to come to an end for many of us. One thing on my list was to tackle my classroom library. Before now, my books were just randomly placed bookshelves and had no organization to them AT ALL! People who know me well would find this out of character for me.

Monday, August 10, 2015. My Super-Duper Teacher Nerd Secret Is. One of my favorite tools for this is a writing assessment in the first week or so of school. I went to take a peek at it for some of my third grade peeps, and HOLY WOW DID THAT LOOK SAD. Not really my most eye-catching resource.

What if you could convince your students to keep trying? To never give up? Not to back away from a challenge? And to always give their best effort?
